    My beloved wife FRANCIS CARTER, during widowhood or natural life, all my
    estate real and personal. Friends: SIMON SETTLE & WILLIAM EDMUNDS (after the
    death of my wife FRANCIS) in trust for my daughter POLLY THRELKILL 1/4 part
    of all of my estate - for her and her children. Son GEORGE 1/4 part. Son
    WILLIAM - 1/4 part. son-in-law WILLIAM PULLIM 1/4 part.

    Land to be valued, giving oldest legatee the first choice and on down, if
    land not wanted to be sold on 12 months credit.
    Executors to allot my negroes in 4 equal lots, value them - if legatees can
    not agree, they to be sold on 12 months credit...
