A memorial of a deed of Lease Duely Executed bearing Date the sixth Day of July one thousand seven hundred and twenty eight and made between James Mays, James Mays Jun’r, Thomas Mays, John Mayes, Andrew Mayes of Knockagarran in the County of Donegall of the one part and William Calhoun of Cross and County of Tyrone on the other part. Whereby the said James Mays, James Mayes Jun’r, Thomas Mayes, John Mayes, Andrew Mayes Does sell and __farm Lett unto the said William Calhoun all that the town and Lands of Knockagarran or by what other name or names the the same is held or Enjoyed by Situate Lying and being in the Mannor of Willson Fort and County of Dunigall to hold to him the Said William Calhoun his Heirs Executors admin’s or assigns for Ever for and in consideration of the sum of 400 pounds Ster to the said James Mayes, James Mayes Jun’r, Thomas Mayes, John Mayes, Andrew Mayes the Receipt of w’ch they hereby Acknoledge he the Said William Calhoun his heirs or assigns yearly paying one peper Corne Hereout unto Charles Hamilton Esq his heirs or assigns (if Demanded) with other Covenants and which Said Deed is wittnessed by:
John McClintock of Greantagh in the County of Donegall, Francis Hamilton of Newtown Stewarts ___ in the County of Tyrone Gent and John Temple of Mullinabreena in the County of Tyrone afors’d gent
