William C. Boone, son of James M. and Laura Ann Parsons Boone, was born Oct. 10, 1872, in Lincoln County, KY. William married July 20, 1897, to Elizabeth "Lizzie" Gooch, born Oct. 8, 1872, in Lincoln County. Elizabeth was the daughter of John P. and Louisa Margaret Barnet Gooch.
