LT. WILLIAM BOND,ent. serv. Nov 1813, ser to Mar 1814, as a PRIVATE, inCapt. John Bond's Co. under Col. G.H. Nixion's 3 Rg't. of US Infrty.; re-entered serv. as LT. WM BOND 8 jan 1815 sarv. to 7 Feb 1815, in Col. Nixon's Rgt. On 4 Apr 1851, WM. BOND applied for bounty Ld. on his War of 1812 rec.; this application was written in his own hand and signed by him; he was then a resident of Harrison Co., Miss., age (about?) 69; he was Honourably Dischg'd on the Ala. Riv. Mar 1815.

He married 2nd to Zilpha Wiggins who had Children From a Previos Mariage(Elisha Bond),Sarah, Minurva, and Mary.

Many documents exist for Lt. William Bond, but his Bible, or Family records has not been located. A Memorial Tomestone for him is Located in the Bond Harvison Cenetery, Stone County, Mississippi near Wiggins, Mississippi. Lt. William Bond is buried on Private Property. After a Memorial Tombstone was purchased and erected it was discovered that too many Children are listed on it, and the unnamed Children are Mistakes.
