    William Bolton [#2], s/o William Bolton [#1] and Elizabeth White, b. Reading 25 Oct 1721, moved to Shirley in 1773, d. 30 Apr 1804, m. (1) Mary "probably daughter of Benjamin Nurse and Elizabeth Roberts" [as documented on Family page for his marriage, this is refuted by Benjamin Nurse's will naming daughter "Mary Powers"], m. (2) 18 Sep 1788 Sarah Lewis.
    [Note: the second wife is also misidentified. The Sarah Lewis that married William Bolton in Reading in 1788 then started having children so that was not this man. The correct identification as Sarah (Blood) (Bennett) Farnsworth is shown by sources cited on her page. The claim (p. 8) that the grandson married 1790 "Sally Farnsworth" is not supported by any record, either in date or name, and it appears that the author conflated the two marriages to women named Sarah.]
