  3. Timothy Dorman's will, dated 19 Jun 1739, proved 19 Dec 1743, gives no indication of a wife or a marriage contract, nor is there among the receipts or expenses listed in the accounting anything indicating there was a widow (Essex probate 8170). Given the sequence of events, this is about the time one would expect Timothy to be adjusting his will to reflect a recent marriage, but the complete absence of any mention therefore seems significant. So if the marriage indicated by the Bolton genealogy is correct, and it appears to be, based on the marriage record, then it appears Elizabeth died very soon after. No death record or gravestone has been located, and based on age, it is certainly possible that some marriage agreement eliminated the need to mention Elizabeth and perhaps she lived past this date (maybe decades being just past 50).
