    CHURCH MEMBERSHIP: William Barstow's first three children were baptized at Dedham on the basis of his wife's membership in the church; the baptisms of his children in Hingham and Scituate may well have been on the same basis, so there is no evidence that he was ever a church member in New England.
    FREEMAN: Admitted to Plymouth Colony freemanship on 1 June 1658 [PCR 3:137] and included in Scituate section of Plymouth Colony list of 1658 |PCR 8:199|.
