Age 82, pioneer lifetime resident, Born Nov. 28, 1873, Mr. Barks lived in Crestview for many years before moving to Wright. Funerl held in Crestview. Burial in Mt. Olive cemetery near Dorcas. Survived by his wife Mary and two daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Martin of FW and Miss Girlie Barks of Wright and one sister, Mrs. Bessie Mason of C'view.
