    ORIGIN: Unknown
    MIGRATION: 1633
    FIRST RESIDENCE: Charlestown
REMOVES: Billerica by 1655, Charlestown by 1657
    OCCUPATION: Husbandman
CHURCH MEMBERSHIP: Admitted to Charlestown church 24 August 1633 [ChChR 8].
FREEMAN: 3 September 1634 (fourth in a group of six from Charlestown) [MBCR 1:369].

BIRTH: No later than about 1613 based on date of freemanship. (Pope says that he was "ae. 52 in 1651," and Wyman says aged 52 in 1652, but neither gives a source.)
DEATH: Charlestown 8 November 1658 [probate inventory (ChVR 1:37 gives only the year of death)].
MARRIAGE: By 1633 Joan _____; "Jone Baker" was admitted to Charlestown church 31 August 1633 [ChChR 8]; "Joannh [sic], widow of William Baker," died at Charlestown 26 September 1669 [ChVR 1:73]. (The gap of five years between the church admission record of Joan Baker and the first child born to this couple suggests that this admission record may be a late and incorrect addition, much like the similar case with RICHARD KETTLE and his wife, and that the marriage may not have taken place until some years later.)
