By 1633 Joan _____; "Jone Baker" was admitted to Charlestown church 31 August 1633 [ChChR 8]; "Joannh [sic], widow of William Baker," died at Charlestown 26 September 1669 [ChVR 1:73]. (The gap of five years between the church admission record of Joan Baker and the first child born to this couple suggests that this admission record may be a late and incorrect addition, much like the similar case with RICHARD KETTLE and his wife, and that the marriage may not have taken place until some years later.)
