    Morris Austin [and my Elizabeth Austin Appling] were children of William Austin and Elizabeth Morris [daughter of Hugh Rice Morris of Albemarle Co., VA]. William Austin's inventory was taken in Albemarle Co. in 1809; a sale of his estate was made in 1812. There were many buyers, among whom were Morris Austin & Thomas Appling [husband of my Elizabeth Austin Appling.
