William J. Albaugh, 90, of 4280 Amsterdam Rd. SE, Carrollton, died Tuesday in his home following a lengthy illness. He was born August 19, 1893 in Loudon Township, a son of the late William and Elizabeth (Miller) Albaugh. He was a life resident of Loudon Twp. and a member of Kilgore Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, William Albaugh of Brunswick; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Conalee) McCartney of Mineral City and Mrs. Art (Norma) Furbee of Kilgore; a sister, Miss Conalee Albaugh of Kilgore; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Cleda Kohler, who died in August 1973; four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home in Carrollton with Rev. Charles Horn officiating. Burial will be in Kilgore Cemetery. Calling hours were held this Wednesday afternoon and evening.
