- Key, William B. - entered service 1776 in Fluvanna County, Virginia, where born 10/2/1759; entered service 1781 in Albemarle County, Virginia, where resided; moved abt. 2 years after Revolutionary War to Elbert County, Georgia where granted Pension in 1833; query letter in file in 1938 from great grand-daughter Mrs. Sally Bell Hawkins of Marshall, Texas, states soldier's middle name was Bibb; query letter in file in 1934 from descendant Litsey Lloyd Sessions of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; query letter in file states soldier died in Elbert County, Georgia; query letter in file states soldier married Mourning Clark, & died 1836 in Elbert County, Georgia.
