From the ship passenger list, it appears Wilfred came from England with his siblings, but no parents. They were in steerage.
The Jackson City directories for 1888 and 1890 show Wilfred Bennett as assistant sexton of Mt. Evergreen Cemetery, residing at 518 Greenwood Avenue.
