Biography of Wilburn L Allen

Wilburn Lloyd Allen, 82, died Jan. 7, 2003, at his residence. He was a resident of Elberta. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Allen of Elberta; a son, James Robert Allen of Dallas; three daughters, Margaret Moffett of Elberta, Tonnia Law and Mary Matthews, both of Gulf Shores; a brother, Nelson Allen of Quitin, Texas; a sister, Opal Ballard of Fort Worth; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Allen served in the US Army Air Force during WWII.

Memorial services were held at 11:45 a.m. Friday, at the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. Arrangements are by Bayview Funeral Home in Foley.
