He lived in Chicago when his father died in 1947 and mother in 1965. Obituary STROUSE, Wesley M., age 89, of the Franklin Nursing Center, died Wednesday, January 11, 1989. Mr. Strouse was preceded in death by his first wife, Marcia Strouse in 1925 and his second wife Genevieve in 1985 and is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Judith and Luke Albers of Englewood; son & daughter-in-law Lawrence & Betty Strouse of Watervliet, MI; five grandchildren, Gail Weber, Marcia Strouse, Douglas Albers, Andrew Albers, Eric Albers; three great-grandchildren, Todd Kinzler, Erin Strouse & Joshua Albers; sisters, Julia Werger of Birmingham, MI and Ellen Burns of Stevensville, MI. He was a retired Salesman, a member of Precious Blood Catholic church, a Navy Veteran of World War I, and past commander of the American Legion in Chicago. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:45 A.M. Saturday at Precious Blood Church, 4961 Salem Ave. with Father Ray Zarate celebrant. Burial Calvary Cemetery.
