"WENDEL" was the eldest known (as of 2019) of a family which was from the village of Bisterschied, in the Rheinpfalz. His ggg-grandson (Jacob, b. 1788 in Bistershied), is probably buried in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. There are 16 names with the Britzius surname, which "White Creek" has added to the website. Six are associated in some way with Bisterschied. Bisterschied is located a mile or so south of WALDGREHWEILER.
