    "Warren J. Waters Dead
Warren J. Waters was born in Boone county, Missouri, May 21, 1863, and died at his home in LaHarpe, Kansas, at 3:00 a.m. Monday, May 20 1912, aged 48 years, 11 months and 29 days.
Mr. Waters was married in 1884 to Kate E. Steel. To this union were born four children, Fleeta, Lena, and twin boys, the latter passing to rest with their mother a few hours after their birth.
Later Mr. Waters was married to Flora Della Julian. Two children were born to them, Crystal, who died when four months old, and Warren Julian.
The loved ones left to mourn are the wife, Flora Della Waters, the daughters, Fleeta Waters Danford, and Lena Waters, Ed. M. Danforth, husband of Fleets, and Warren, many relatives and a host of friends.
Mr. Waters came to LaHarpe in 1901 and entered into the drug and jewelry business. He was one of LaHarpe's foremost businessmen, always ready in launching enterprises for the welfare of the city.
In 1907 his business requiring more attention than he could give it, Mr. Waters associated Ed M. Danforth with himself, the firm name thereafter being Waters & Danforth, and so continuing until the present time.
Mr. Waters united with the Methodist church at Uniontown some years ago, and his membership was transferred to the LaHarpe Methodist church when he moved here. He retained this membership until God called him from time to eternity.
The funeral was held at the Methodist church in LaHarpe Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, Rev. Archie J. Morton conducting the service, which was largely attended.
The body was taken to Uniontown Tuesday evening and a service was held there by Rev. Morton at the home of the parents of Mrs. Waters at eleven o'clock Wednesday morning, May 22.
The body was laid to rest in the Uniontown cemetery."
