Warren and his two brothers John and Samuel were initially admitted to the Soldiers Orphan School in Loysville, Perry County, Pennsylvania. They were all transferred to White Hall School in Camp Hill, Cumberland County 8 Sept 1871. Warren was graduated from the White Hall School 19 June 1878 his 16th birthday. He was a "sixteener". His occupation is listed as a laborer.
