Warren McNAMARA
b.30 Aug 1904
Facts and Events
Warren was raised on a small family farm along with his parents, brothers Clayton and William and sisters, Katie and Julia. Their parents bought the farm in the valley north of Hamlet, in Villenova Township, Chautauqua, New York where they raised dairy cows, chickens, corn and grass for cattle feed, and a garden and orchard to manage. Warren may not have liked farming to much and wanted to drive trucks, possibly for more money, more excitement, or the chance to see some country and get off the farm.
Warren was 37 years old when he died in a tragic head-on collision with another truck. His brother, Clayton, had nightmares for years hearing Warren screaming from the burning truck.
