obituary:

" Warner Edgar Norvell, of 12 miles southeast of Laredo, committed suici de about 3 o'clock yesterday afternnoon at his home at that place, accordi ng to word received here today. He was 68 years old. Not much information was learned, and no reason given as to the cause. M r. Norvell was found dead under his automobile which it is believed he h ad backed out of the garage, and had left the engine running. He had faste ned an inner tube to the exhaust pipe of the engine and placed the tube ov er his mouth and face and inhaled the fumes. When found he was lying on h is face, it was stated. The deceased was a widower and made his home with his brother, James Norve ll. He also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Opal Cloud, who lives in the same comm unity of the deceased and his brother. He was born in Sullivan county. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at the Hasevi lle church, conducted by the Rev. A. H. Smith, pastor of the Baptist chur ch in Laredo. Burial will be at the Haseville cemetery"
