Walton H. Donnell, 80, of Gibsonburg, died October 3, 2005, at Windsor Lane Care Center. He was born on January 25, 1925, in Gibsonburg to Lester and Elizabeth (Jacobs) Donnell. Walton was a graduate of Gibsonburg High School and The University of Toledo Law School and he served in the Navy during WWII. Walton was a supervisor at Superior Coach in Lima, a laborer at Libbey Owens Ford in Toledo, radio announcer for WFRO Radio in Fremont, and an Attorney, retiring in 2003. He was a past member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are children, Stephen Donnell of Woodville, Stan Donnell, Janet Benson, Nancy (Tony) Clarke, all of Colorado, Amanda Donnell, Brandy Donnell, and Brady Donnell, all of Woodville; nine grandchildren; brother, Robert (Tiny) Donnell of Gibsonburg; sisters, Lillian Anderson of Portland, OR and Carolyn Cowden of MD. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Arlington Donnell, Seymour Donnell, Roger Donnell; sister, Grace Sheidler; half-sisters, Ocie Wall, Bertha Caris, Elva Vischman; half-brothers, Milburn and Leonard Donnell. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Ralph Clink officiating. Burial will follow at Quinshan Cemetery with Military Rites by the Gibsonburg American Legion. Memorials may be made in Walton's name to Hospice of Northwest OH, American Cancer Society or the VFW.
