  5.   Obituary.

    Walter S. "Sonny" Lauchner was born in St. Louis, MO to Walter D. and Eleanor (Lorton) Lauchner. He is survived by his wife Loraine (Mettler) Lauchner who he married on April 12, 1958 in Greenville, Illinois. He is also survived by his children, Lori A. (Joseph) Coco of St. Louis, MO, Walter S (Jill) Lauchner , Mary L. (David) Schlueter, and Linda A. (Jerry) Farris. He is also survived by his sisters Jane Whitlock, Betty Brown, and Susan Cline, and also thirteen grandchildren. Mr. Lauchner grew up in Greenville and graduated for Greenville High School in 1947. He attended Greenville College for two years and then served in The United States Air Force from 1950 to 1954. After the military he managed a Phillip 66 gas station and then opened the Greenville Coast to Coast Hardward Store in 1972. He then went on to work for Cassens Transport until his retirement in 1993.
