Walter N. Hicks, 95, a long time resident of Corpus Christi went to be with his Lord January 26, 2009.

He was a graduate of Texas Tech University and worked for Southwestern Oil and Refining Company where he retired as Vice President.

He was an active member of the Kings Crossings Church of Christ especially in the prison ministry during the past seventeen years.

Walter is survived by his wife Dorthie of Corpus Christi, a son Jim of Friendswood, Texas, 2 step daughters, 2 step sons, and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
