Walter Francis by his deed dated Augt. 2, 1714, recorded in Bichmond Co. Court, did give unto the sd. Octr. 7, 1729. Walter x Frances of the parish of Prince George in the County of Spts., "for ye fatherly love, etc., and affection I bare to my son-in-law, Edward Price." Personal effects. -To all Christiam people to whom these presents shall come I WALTER FRANCIS of the parish of Prince George in the said County of Spotsylvania planter [sic St. George] stand Greeting In our Lord God everlasting Know ye I the said WALTER FRANCIS for the fatherly love or and afection which I bare to my son in Law EDWARD PRICE as alsoe for Divers other good causes and consideration moving and at this time especially I the said WALTER FRANCIS being in perfect memory have given granted and confirmed and by these presents do fully freely and absolutely give grant and confirm unto my said Son in Law EDWARD PRICE his heirs and assigns for ever the personall goods hereafter mentioned Viz. Foure feather bedds and furniture one large brass kitle, one small boll mottlen kittle, one boll mottle skillit two large Iron pots and pott hooks two sinall potts and pott hooks one Iron spitt and driping pan and fend or two goeus One large chest one small Do. one trunk one Iron postell one brass postell and morter one brass skemmer one Tuir cullned or one large brass candlestick one sett of weges and a parcell of puter and some coupers tules To Have and To Hold the above said good unto him and his heirs forever given under my hand and seal this the 7th day of October in the yeare of our Lord 1729.
