WATFORD 23 AUGUST 1937: WALTER ANNETT [excerpt] The funeral of Walter Annett, 71 year old farmer of Brooke Township, was held this afternoon from the family residence on the twelfth concession. Mr. Annett, who was a well known farmer in this district, died Saturday night following a heart seizure. Interment was in St. James cemetery. Mr. Annett was born in Brooke Township, where he resided all his life. He is survived by his wife, formerly Ella Gubbins, one daughter, Mrs. E. Carroll of Watford, three sons, George of Brooke. Township, and Calvin and Leonard at home; four sisters, Mrs. C. Dolbear and Mrs. William Dolbear of Brooke Township, Mrs. John Maw of Wyoming and Mrs. Roland King of Brooke Township and two brothers, William Annett of Alvinston and Wellington Annett of Brooke Township.«i»
