Vivian N. Stickney Homemaker, 69 Vivian Naomi Stickney of Livingston Manor, a homemaker and a lifelong area resident, died Friday, September 28, 2001, at her home. She was 69 years of age. The daughter of the late Lewis and Mildred David Smith, she was born January 24, 1932, in Sidney. Mrs. Stickney was the widow of John Young. She is survived by five sons, Timothy Smith of Fishs Eddy, John Young of Livingston Manor, James Young and his wife, Connie, of Livingston Manor, Thomas Young of Livingston Manor, and Gary Young and his wife, Sheila of Fishs Eddy; two daughters, Patricia Young of Syracuse and Kathy Brown and her husband, Dave, of Asheville, N.C.; a brother, William Smith of Ferndale; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by two half brothers, Henry Irwin and Nolie Irwin. Funeral services were held Monday at the Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home in Livingston Manor with the Rev. H. Markham Fargo officiating. Cremation was private. Interment of the cremains will be made in the Liberty Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Livingston Manor Volunteer Ambulance Corps or the Livingston Manor Fire Department, both at Livingston Manor, N.Y. 12758.
