    Virginia "Ginny" Lewis, 60, of Chester, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer.
    Born in Fairmont, W.Va. on November 21, 1959, she was the daughter of the late William and Donna (Ice) Wells.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Wells; two nieces, Courtney Wells and Brittany Wells; and a sister-in-law, Betty Wells.
    Surviving are three sisters, Tracy Wells (John Shepherd), Kimberly Reed and Cristi Tharp (Ed Crow) all of Chester; five brothers, William Wells (Amy Cowdery) of Chester, Mike (Kathy) Wells of New Cumberland, Brian Wells of Carrollton, Ohio, Jeff Wells of East Liverpool and Doug Wells of Beckley, W.Va.; and many nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
    Visitation is Tuesday, August 25, 2020, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, W.Va.
    Burial will follow in New Cumberland Cemetery.
    The family requests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
