Virginia Mahaffey Taylor, 83, of Simpsonville, widow of James C. Taylor, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Surviving are 15 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband; two sisters, Irene Epps and Nannie Clary; and five brothers, Eustus, Frank, Mills, Charles, and Manley Mahaffey. Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Graceland East Memorial Park.”
