Virginia Hale was born 19 February 1919 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was baptized at St. Casimir's Church on 2 March 1919. She married Joseph Evans. She worked for the American Can Company in Baltimore and later had a job in Westminster, Maryland. She lived in the house on 940 Clinton Street for over 50 years. The stairs eventually became too much for and she moved to the Indeco Apartments - a few blocks away. She moved to Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania near the end of her life. She passed away 10 December 2006 at the Lutheran Home in Shrewsbury.
