Virginia M Burns Aug. 10, 1918 -- May 23, 2003

Virginia M Burns, 84, of Bradner, died Friday at her residence.

She was born in Jerry City to Frank E and Minnie L (Fortlander) Frette r. On Oct. 2, 1938, she married Donald E Burns in Bradner. He passed aw ay Aug. 9, 1990.

Mrs. Burns was a homemaker. She was a member of the Albert Bowe American L egion Post 338 Auxiliary in Bradner for 22 years; and a member of Easte rn Star Chapter 133 in Fremont for 50 years.

She was a 1937 graduate of Bradner High School and volunteered as a Gray L ady at Bellevue Hospital.

Surviving are sons Dennis M Burns of Fostoria and Rex E Burns of Rollersvi lle; daugter Pamela G Cann of Bradner; sister Shirley J Garner of Wayne; a nd nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by h er parents and husband; sister Florence Moon; and granddaughter Dina Burn s.

Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Barndt Funeral Ho me in Wayne.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Burial: Bradner Cemetery.
