She was married to Stephen Gaston Hatcher, born March 11, 1905 in Vaiden, Carroll County, MS, and died October 18, 1974 in New Orleans, LA. They married December 27, 1930 in Holly Springs, MS. She was born July 25, 1911 in Memphis, Shelby County, TN to James Franklin Bickers and Emma Virginia McLendon. She will be buried on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Janice (Hatcher) Lane and by her youngest daughter, my mother, Margaret Elizabeth (Hatcher) Mims. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
