[Alamance County_Feb 2006_backup.FTW] Mrs.. Violet Faulkner Albright GRAHAM — Mrs.. Violet Faulkner Albright, 85, of Jefferson Care Center in Yanceyville and formerly of 1225 E. Harden St., died at 11:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at Jefferson Care Center after an illness of three years. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Mr. William Penn Albright and the daughter of Mr. Willie Faulkner and Mrs.. Roxie Long Faulkner, both deceased. She was retired from Lemco Mills and was a member of Long’s Chapel United Church of Christ. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs.. Wilma Hall of Snow Camp, Mrs.. Clara Jordan of Burlington and Mrs.. Tammy Goodwin of Graham; a sister, Mrs.. Yvonne Lassiter of Burlington; five brothers, Mr. Elmo Faulkner, Mr. Donald Faulkner and Mr. H.W. Faulkner, all of Burlington, Mr. Earl Faulkner of Graham and Mr. Dace Faulkner of Haw River; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs.. Ava Taylor and Mrs.. Lillian Carey and a brother, Mr. Lawrence Faulkner. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Long’s Chapel United Church of Christ cemetery by Dr. Dan Brown, pastor. The family will be at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6 to 8 this evening. |
