WEST PEORIA - Viola May Siewert, age 93, of West Peoria passed away at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at Farmington Country Manor. She was born May 1, 1914, in Peoria to John M. and Gertrude (Zeitz) Mayer. She married Arthur F. Siewert in Peoria in 1946. He passed away in 1985. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Gertrude Siewert and Ruth Mayer. Survivors include three daughters, Jane (Randil) Wells of Peoria, Joyce (Jon) Lehman of Princeville and Janet Riley of Peoria; three grandchildren, Jason Wells of Dallas, Texas, Jay Riley of Peoria and Will Riley of Peoria; and one sister, Mary (Vic) Barber of North Port, Fla. Viola was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Peoria. Private graveside services will be Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the West Peoria Fire and Rescue.
