Death of Col. Marmaduke
Col. Vincent Marmaduke, died Friday morning at the home of his son-in-law, Dr. William Harrison, Marshall, Mo., aged 73 years.
Col. Marmaduke was a son of Governor M.M. Marmaduke and a brother of Governor John S. Marmaduke. He was a Confederate soldier and served under Gen. Bragg. He was well known to many of our citizens, some of whom served with him in the war between the states.
