    Vida M. Canova, 86, of McKeesport, died Friday, February 11, 2011, at Southwestern Nursing Home. Born July 13, 1924, in Buena Vista, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Ella (Firden) Laughner and wife of the late Louis J. Canova Sr. Mrs. Canova was an employee of the former Vienna Baking Company and later worked in the housekeeping department and as a nurse's aide at McKeesport Hospital. She was also a member of St. Patrick Church. She was preceded in death by brothers Richard, Melvin "Whitey" and Earl; and sisters Della LaRosa, Violet Reitz and Ruth Ukasik.
