Vernon Albert Heminger Jan. 7, 1921 -- June 2, 2003 ------ Vernon Albert Heminger, 82, of Oak Harbor died Monday at H.B Magruder Hos pital in Port Clinton. He was born at home in Oak Harbor to the now deceased Albert Robert and Et hel (Schultz) Heminger. He was a 1939 graduate of Oak Harbor High Schoo l. On Oct. 24, 1941, he married Edythe Julia Stetler at St. Paul United Ch urch of Christ in Oak Harbor where he has been a member his entire life. Mr. Heminger was a lifelong farmer and retired in 1988 from the former St andard Products Co, Port Clinton. He enjoyed farming, fishing and playing the guitar with his father. Survivors include his wife Edythe of Oak Harbor; son Robert Albert Hemming er of Woodbine, Ga.; daughters Sharon Kay (Robert) Boldt of Sharpsburg, G a, Barbara Ann (Eugene) Banky of Graytown, Patricia Sue (Steve) McLaughl in of Elmore and Gloria Jean (Paul) Krauss of Oak Harbor; grandchildren Ju stin and Austin Heminger, Brian (Kim) and Keith Boldt, Tammy (James) Mee k, Todd (Sandra) Banky, Michelle Gronwall and Nicole Weborg; and great-gra ndchildren Travis and Garrett Meek, Taylor Weborg and Kiley Gronwall. In a ddition to his parents, he is preceded by brother Paul George Heminger. Visitation: 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, with t he family present from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services: 11 am Friday, St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor, wi th the Rev.
