Syracuse Post-Standard, 13 Dec 2001: VERNA C. FAULKNER Verna C. Williams Faulkner, 88, of 2313 County Route 23, Williamstown, died Wednesday at Loretto Heights Nursing Home in Oswego. She was born in Bernhards Bay. She was an elementary-school teacher in the Central Square school district and retired in 1971 from Constantia Elementary. She also taught school in Amboy and Altmar-Parish Williamstown school district. She was a member of Amboy Center United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women's Group. She was a member of Eastern Star in Williamstown. Her husband, Stanley, died in 2000. Survivors: Two sons, Leigh of Parish and Dale of West Chazy; three sisters, Helen Cornell of Manlius, Frances Moran of North Syracuse and Dorothy Capria of East Syracuse; a brother, Donald Williams of Brewerton; eight grandchildren... Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in Amboy Center United Methodist Church. Burial, Fairview Cemetery.
