Verna A Hutchins Sept. 25, 1924 -- Nov. 14, 2003

Verna A Hutchins, 79, of Meadow Lane, Gibsonburg, died in St. Charles Hosp ital, Oregon, on Friday evening.

Verna was born in Pemberville to Henry and Anna (Heuerman) Bettenbroc k. On June 17, 1959, She married Paul C Hutchins. He died on March 14, 197 7.

She graduated from Pemberville High School and was an assembly worker at t he Goodyear Tire and Rubber Plant in Luckey. She attended Woodville Unit ed Methodist Church and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Chur ch in Gibsonburg. She was very active in the WSOS Senior Center in Gibsonb urg.

Surviving are daughters Paula (Richard) Lively, Mulberry, Fla., and Sand ra (Dan) Johnson, Williston; a sister Janet Bettenbrock; grandchildren, Sh aron (Craig) Blausey, Jerry (Michelle) Aldrich, Scott Lively, Crystal Brin gman and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her broth er Donald Bettenbrock and her parents.

Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Fu neral Home, Gibsonburg.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Fritz Merk es officiating.

Burial: West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
