 Verl C. Bittner, Sr., 80, of Glencoe RD 1, died Sept. 2, 1986, at home.  Born May 12, 1906, in Meyersdale, the son of the late Alan and Linnie (Poorbaugh) Bittner.  Survived by his wife of 51 years, the former Lydia Leecy; sons, Verl Jr., married to the former Judy Shaulis, Glencoe RD 1; and Ray, married to the former Darlene Boyer, Cumberland, Md.
