Born in Etowah County, she was athe daughter of the late Benson and Lois Cooper Wilemon and widow of A.S. Nix who died April 27, 1979. She was a member of Altoon's First United Methodist Church. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Nathan and Barbara Nix, Altoona, daughters Kathryn Nix and June Claviers and daughter-in-law Lucille Nix, all of Altoona. seven grandsons;one granddaughter; and 14 great grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was predesceased by son Etha Nix. Harvey Beck officiated funeral May 30 at King's Valley Chapel with burial at Altoona Walnut Grove Cemetery. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
