Mrs. Vera Mozelle Mann Shoffner dies at 100 GARNER — Mrs. Vera Mozelle Mann Shoffner, 100, of 1103 Pine Winds Drive, died at 2 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002 at Laurels of Forest Glen in Garner.

A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late John Hanks Mann and Naomi Cooke Mann. She was retired from Cannon Mills and was a member of First Baptist Church of Graham.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Norma Shoffner Amick of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Betty Shoffner Brown of Raleigh, and Mrs. Peggy Shoffner Neely of Goode, Va.; a son, Mr. Carl Duane Shoffner of Burlington; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ralph Donald Shoffner and Jack Werner Shoffner. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Dr. Paul Lane, pastor of First Baptist Church of Graham. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery . The family will receive friends at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham one hour prior to the service.
