What a gal! She was my Mom and there was no one else like her. She was full of life, and love, and happiness. She was born a country girl and came to the big city of Chicago with her baby daughter Marilyn to be with her husband Gene who had moved there to find work. She was told she could never have anymore children because of the careless work of her doctor after Marilyn had been born. Luckily for my older sister Susie and I, she found a very good doctor in Chicago who was able to correct things so we were able to be conceived and born.
