Vera K (Knowles) Booth, 81, of Mentor for the past 58 years, formerly of C lyde, died Sunday at her residence.

She was born in Clyde and graduated with the class of 1940 at Clyde High S chool.

She was a secretary for Dr. Roger Sherman's practice in Mentor until her r etirement in 1990. Prior to that she worked at Lubrizol Corp. in Wickliff e.

She was a member of Mentor United Methodist Church, Mentor Women's Club a nd Miscellany Club.

Survivors are daughter, Deborah (Michael) Lehman of Mentor; son, Willi am K (Betty) Booth of Charlotte, N.C; granddaughter, Hunter Booth; grandso n, Michael Lehman; niece, Barbara (Joseph) Knight of Clyde; and several gr eat-nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her husband, Wm Booth, h er parents, Frank and Bertha Knowles, and sisters, Doris Collingsworth a nd Mildred Garn.

Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Servic e, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Mentor United Methodist Church, 8600 Ment or Ave. Mentor.

Burial: Mentor Cemetery.
