3/9/2004 Marilyn Hutchinson called. Said that Vera is in a rest home (just 4 ladies, being cared for by two Philippino ladies). Very sharp mentally, but weak physically. Fractured pelvis couple of years ago. Can go only 15 ft. with a walker -- needs assistance.

Marilyn offered us painting by Gram, plus all the photos of our family, going back to the Stanleys.

Vera died of a stroke, in the rest home, in Sept. 2005.
