Obituary (clipping, Oct? 1993) VERONICA McELLIGOTT PASSES AWAY THIS WEEK Dorchester-- Veronica (Durkee) McElligott, who was born and educated in Woburn, died earlier this week in Dorchester. She was the wife of the late Dr. Maurice J. McElligott. Born in Woburn, Mrs. McElligott was educated at St. Charles School, graduating in 1932. Trained at Tewksbury and the Boston City Hospital nursing schools, Mrs. McElligott was a nurse at Boston City Hospital for 17 years. She also traveled extensively to all parts of the world. She was the mother of Maurice J. McElligott of Boca Raton FL and Timothy McElligott of Huntington CT. In addition to two grandsons and three granddaughters, Mrs. McElligott is survived by her sisters Mary M. Connolly of Woburn, Edna E. Gallagher of Orleans, and Louise T. Curran of Seabrook NH. There was no wake and the funeral service was private.
