Athens Banner-Herald, Wednesday, July 31, 2002: Venita T. Gunnels Athens Venita Tullis Gunnels, 75, of 960 Hawthorne Ave., died Monday, July 29, 2002. A native of DeKalb County, Mrs. Gunnels was a daughter of the late Hinton and Pauline Kilgore Tullis and was the widow of Joseph Joe Clarke Gunnels. She was retired from BellSouth Marketing after 36 years of service and was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Chuck Smith officiating. Bernstein Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
