    HOBE SOUND - Velma Mae Hann, 86, of Hobe Sound died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, in Seabreeze Manor, Hobe Sound.

    A native of Tonkawa, Okla., she lived in the area for 33 years. She moved here from Winfield, Kan.

    She was a homemaker.

    She was a member of Hobe Sound Bible Church.

    Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Amos E. Hann of Hobe Sound; a son, Amos E. Hann Jr. of Columbia, S.C.; two daughters, Naomi Gappa and husband Robert of Oklahoma City and Marietta Collins and husband Ken of Woodstock, Ga.; a stepbrother, Weldon Laws of Mountain Grove, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

    Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon today at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.

    A service will be at noon today at the funeral home. The Rev. Donald Winter of Hobe Sound Bible Church will officiate.

    Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
