David Valentine Spring of Tn. was son of John Spring son of Nicholas Spring orginaily from Augusta County Virginia. Nicholas and family moved to Tn. in about 1799. David Valentine was the son of John Spring and Nancy (Moore) Spring. David moved to Texas and was a Doctor. I am a decendent of John Spring. Valentine Spring was a brother to John Spring they were sons of Nicholas Spring and the name Valentine came from Nicholas's father-in-law Valentine Cloninger.
