BIRTH-DEATH-MARRIAGE-CHILDREN-OBITUARY: "Ursula Maie Replogle. Rites Here for Former Resident. Graveside rites were held Tuesday, August 11 at 10 am., at Evergreen cemetery in Red Oak for Mrs. Maie Austin, 81, who died August 3, in Glendale, Calif. She, had been ill for nine years. Rev. Asa Popp was the officiating clergyman. The Perryman-Nelson chapel was in charge of arrangements. A daughter of J. M. and Elizabeth Replogle, she was born at Unionville, Iowa, April 19, 1872. She was married in September, 1893, in Red Oak, to Carl Austin. who died here in 1923. Three daughters survive. They are Mrs. Buford King, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. V. E. Gustafson, San Bernardino, Calif. Mrs. King and Mrs Gustafson - accompanied - the remains of their mother here for burial." Red Oak Express Sunday August 12, 1954. NOTE: Obit fails to mention third dayghter.
